The electricity calculator runs in your browser. We do not send the values you enter to a server or save them in a database. Reloading the page restores the example inputs.

This version of Everyday Watts has no user accounts, contact forms, newsletter signup, advertising scripts or site analytics added by us. It does not use cookies or local storage to save calculator inputs.

The website is hosted by Vercel. Requests to load pages and images pass through its infrastructure; hosting and security operations may process technical request information, including IP addresses. See Vercel’s privacy policy for information about its processing.

Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. The email sharing link opens your own email application; Everyday Watts does not send the email or receive its contents.

Amazon product links contain our affiliate tracking ID. If you follow one, Amazon can attribute qualifying purchases to Everyday Watts and applies its own privacy and cookie practices. Product photos load directly from Amazon’s image servers. This sends Amazon technical request information, such as your IP address and browser details, even if you do not click a product link. We do not add Amazon tracking scripts. See Amazon’s privacy notice and our affiliate disclosure.

Marvin Smit owns Everyday Watts. This notice describes the current implementation. It will be updated if we add forms, analytics or change how tracking works. Learn more about the site.
